Don't let unexpected phone bills ruin your trip. Activate a digital SIM before you leave and get connected the moment you arrive. No plastic, no paperclips, no hassle.
Built for wherever you're headed next: from quick weekend breaks to round the world adventures.
Why Choose an eSIM?
Daily roaming add-ons stack up fast. An eSIM is a fraction of the price, activates in seconds, and your UK number stays put for calls and texts that matter.
Cheaper
Pay once for the trip — not £6.99 a day, every day, even on the days you barely leave the pool.
Faster
Scan a QR code at home. By the time you land, you're already replying to the family WhatsApp.
Simpler
Your regular SIM stays safely inside your phone. Just download your holiday eSIM before you leave and switch over to it the moment you land.
How It Works
eSIMs are built into every iPhone since the XS and most modern Androids. If you've bought a phone in the last few years, you're ready.
Pick your destination. We'll show plans built for it — by the day, week, or whole trip.
Your eSIM lands in your inbox. One scan and your phone knows it has a new data plan waiting.
Land. Toggle the line on. Browse, map, post, stream — without roaming charges.

Nope. Your regular SIM stays in the phone. An eSIM sits alongside it as a data line — your number, your texts, your iMessage, all unchanged.
Every iPhone since the iPhone XS (2018) and most modern Androids do. To double-check, your device must be compatible and carrier-unlocked:
1. Check eSIM Compatibility:
• iPhone: Settings → Mobile Service (or Cellular). Your phone is compatible if you see 'Add eSIM' or 'Set Up Mobile'.
• Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM Manager. Your phone is compatible if you see 'Add eSIM'.
• Pixel: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (+). Your phone is compatible if you see 'Download a SIM instead?'.
• Other Androids: Dial *#06#. Your phone is compatible if an EID number is displayed.
2. Check Unlocked Status:
• iPhone: Settings → General → About → Network Provider (or Carrier) Lock. It should say 'No SIM restrictions'.
• Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile Network → Choose network. If multiple networks appear, it is unlocked.
Carriers price travel data per day, per device, with a healthy markup. esym sells data the way the internet actually works — by the gigabyte, at local-ish rates.
Switch the line off. No auto-renewal, no surprise charges next month. Switch it on again next trip.
